Koo is an Indian microblogging and social networking service, based in Bengaluru, India. As of May 2021, it is valued at over $100 million. The microblogging site was co-founded by entrepreneurs Aprameya Radhakrishna and Mayank Bidawatka. Radhakrishna had founded online cab booking service TaxiForSure, which was subsequently sold to Ola Cabs. While the app was launched in early 2020, its participation and the subsequent winning of the government’s Atmanirbhar App Innovation Challenge.

 

Experience – 6 to 10 Years

  • Experience in mobile applications with desire to work in fast paced start-ups
  • Excellent business understanding and prioritization skills
  • Worked on Android applications from scratch. Exposure to audio video content-based applications is preferred. Good to have exposure to chat, rich UIs, and live streaming is a plus
  • Up to date on upcoming trends in android and its ecosystem. Good understanding of trade-offs; ability to think independently and come up with innovative solutions
  • Sound knowledge about application performance, tuning on all parameters like network utilization, application size, play store core vitals and battery usage
  • Experience with dagger, retrofit, rx-android, android architecture components etc
  • Jetpack compose, kotlin, flow, firebase, room, clean architecture – hands on would be great
  • Sound understanding of test-driven development, mock frameworks, modular code design and popular design patterns

Experience – 3 to 10 Years

  • Good experience in SwiftUI. Worked on consumer facing high traffic (millions of concurrent users) mobile applications with desire to work in growing fast paced startups
  • Worked on applications from scratch. Well versed with building apps for various screen density and sizes
  • Up to date on upcoming trends in ios and its ecosystem with respect to design, architecture etc
  • Experience on optimizing all important parameters like network utilization, application size and battery
  • Experience with reactive and asynchronous programming is highly preferred
  • Should have used mock frameworks, modular code design and popular design patterns

Experience – 2 to 4 Years

  • Advance knowledge of atleast one of the following programming language Java/Kotlin, Python, Erlang/Elixir, Go. Knowledge of coroutines/goroutines and reactive programming is a big plus
  • Good working knowledge of relational datastores (MySQL, Postgres) and NOSQL datastores (Cassandra, Aerospike, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB)

Experience – 2 to 4 Years

  • Gaining an understanding of our Current State and then defining the Target State Architecture and Strategy
  • Work as the Technical Product Owner in partnership with our Business Product Owners to define the technical strategy for our data driven products and applications
  • Develop Architectures for highly scalable and fault-tolerant applications using Cloudera/Hadoop and Relational database technologies
  • Provide technical and architectural oversight for systems and projects that are required to be reliable, massively scalable, highly available (99.999% uptime), and maintainable
  • Introduce best practices and principles to enable consistent delivery and enable alignment with long term direction
  • Lead and mentor other team members
  • Foster development best practices within the team
  • Identify and drive process improvements
  • Facilitate communication across groups
  • Work with our product organization to develop business requirements into architecture and integrate into our long-term platform strategy

Experience – 2 – 5 Years

  • MBA from Tier 1 institute in Management Consulting/ Strategy/ Business Analyst roles preferably in startups
  • Ability to structure complex and ambiguous, business challenges
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Competency in Microsoft Suite – Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, Basic knowledge of SQL, R/Python
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced and chaotic environment
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to diagnose business problems and identify opportunities to optimize key funnels
  • Drive special projects to drive key business metrics
  • Work with product, technology, growth, and operations teams to execute product/ funnel interventions
  • Democratize data for other teams by building dashboards and analytics solutions
  • Evaluate analytics platforms and tools by conducting primary and secondary research

Experience – 2 – 3 Years

  • Experience in a customer service or related role in a tech company is a must
  • Should be comfortable / prior experience to CRM/ticketing systems like ZohoDesk, ZenDesk, FreshDesk etc
  • Comfortable with consumer tech products/apps. Understanding of how they work
  • Excellent communication skills in writing/speaking
  • Comfortable talking with users on phone to issue solutioning as need may be
  • Work with multiple departments to solution out the user problem
  • Ability to multitask/ work under chaos situation
  • Flexible in work timings
  • Self-disciplined and energy to work in a high growth startup with multiple challenges each day
  • Knowledge of MS excel, SQL, and any other analytical tools would be a plus

Experience – 6 – 9 Years

  • Good at data analytics and understanding user journeys – enjoy driving insights out of data, comfortable working with common analytical tools
  • Should have an eye for detail, analytical mindset – should be able to do quick and flawless execution of campaigns on clever tap with the least amount of support
  • Preferably must have worked in a retention role in any internet B2C organization or from a data analytics firm with good retention management, project experience or finding out meaningful insights
  • You would be responsible for end-to-end customer re-activation & retention campaigns
  • Lifecycle management of the customer & Cohort, creating customer journeys to improve key metrics across the funnel in line with business objectives
  • Own the entire retention and reactivation funnel constantly tracking, optimizing, and improving the same with the creative communication
  • Generate deep insights about customers that increase their retention, root-cause & predict churn and lead to inventing new ways to delight and retain customers for maximum impact on DAU (daily active users)
  • Create, implement and optimize daily/weekly/monthly campaigns (retention and reactivation – both automated and not automated)
  • Should be able to handle CRM tools, execute, measure & analyze campaign

Experience – 3 – 6 Years

  • Acquiring new clients and agencies across industries across Global markets.
  • Identify and map prospective clients, should be responsible for cultivating new relationships, managing sales pipeline.
  • Work with the existing team to execute various campaigns
  • Experience of selling mobile inventories for performance marketing campaigns like Cost per Install, Cost per Acquisition, Cost Per Lead, Cost per Visits/Sessions etc.
  • Good understanding about performance marketing terminologies.
  • Co-ordinate with Monetization team for submitting the plans as per the brief
  • Establish and grow relationships with decision makers/influencers in major ad agencies.
  • The ability to handle digital media sales individually.
  • Proven ability to build brands and achieve sales targets
  • Experience in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment is considered a plus.
  • Relevant higher degree such as an MBA is advantageous but not a requirement.
  • Extensive list of contacts within the space.

Experience – 3 – 8 Years

  • 3- 8 years of experience leading/building a customer experience/service team
  • People management skills in handling large teams
  • Escalate complaints based on severity of impact to avoid litigation and reputation loss
  • Must be able to draft customer communications keeping legal & statutory guidelines in perspective
  • Problem solving skills around automation whenever applicable , introducing new processes to increase user happiness

  • Perform penetration testing on Web, Mobile Applications & APIs
  • Conduct regular security assessments to identify & mitigate vulnerabilities across the applications, infrastructure, systems & network
  • Work closely with other teams to help build & maintain a robust security posture across the  organization
  • Create well-documented reports and developing a solid security-testing methodology
  • Understand complex Technical & Architectural issues from security perspective & implement necessary controls in place
  • Automate repetitive tasks like Regression & SAST
  • Work with external security researchers via the bug bounty program
  • Promote security-first culture in the organization

Experience – 2 – 5 Years

  • Work with multiple departments to solution out the eminent user problem
  • Ability to multitask/ work under chaotic situations
  • Flexible in work timings (Comfortable working in rotational shifts)

Experience – 2 – 5 Years

  • Conduct root cause and other data analysis for the team
  • Participate as project team member in problem prevention and continuous  improvement projects 
  • Identify improvement opportunities within the environment 
  • Act as liaison with Team Lead to ensure consistent quality measurements  throughout the operation. 
  • Provide QA progress reports to Team Leads. 
  • Conduct Health Checks for high impact transitions, as requested 
  • Analyze Customer Satisfaction Survey results & recommend improvement  efforts 
  • Act as escalation point of contact for process questions, issues and resolution
  • Administer the QA issue repository and ensure all escalations are properly  addressed.
