We are all in a journey of evolution. In the quest of excellence. To be a better version of ourselves. Just the way people evolve and improve in this quest for excellence, so do brands and organization.

Koo started as a dream. To unite India. In the face of the reality of being a country with the largest language diversity compared to any other country. And the reality that just 10% of India understands and prefers English. Over a billion Indians still speak a regional Indian language. We wanted to create a large impact and the best thing we could think of was by giving every voice a stage. Given that the internet largely caters to people who speak English, many Indian voices in Indian regional languages don’t have access to a stage. We want to enable a billion such voices with a platform to express themselves, give them a stage and an environment to connect with each other in the easiest way possible.

What started as a dream a year back has evolved into a bustling community. With millions of people sharing their thoughts with each other, finding comfort in each other’s company, learning something new everyday and growing together as a community. We keep hearing beautiful stories of community members and how Koo is an integral part of their lives. This is what keeps us going.

As the Koo brand evolves, we see that the identity that it initially had adopted, didn’t justify the current shape that it’s taken. Today it’s a brand used by millions of users, 1000s of prominent faces in the country and splashed across channels and newspapers everyday. The little yellow bird needed to evolve to embrace the new avatar the country bestowed on it.

With this in mind, we are very happy to unveil our new look. We hope the new Koo identity will enjoy as much trust and love that we have received thus far. This little bird is getting ready to help a billion people exchange voices and messages in the most seamless way possible 🙂
